GB Widgets Limited
GB Widgets Limited are a widget manufacturer based in Leeds. Their business only has an office in GB, not in the Republic of Ireland. From a customs perspective, trade with the Republic of Ireland is complex.
Import Declarations
As they operate under Delivery at Place (DAP) Incoterms, GB Widgets need to rely on the Irish importer to complete the import declaration. The Irish importer are responsible for duties and the VAT.
Currently, GB Widgets send both full and part-loads (groupage) from Leeds to the Republic of Ireland three times per week to multiple customers.
