A couple of weeks ago, Gareth, one of our customs experts, embarked on a 10-mile walk from Blackburn to Preston in 30+ degree heat.
It was a walk with a far greater purpose.
David Murchie, a much-loved father, husband and friend has sadly passed away. He leaves behind a community of people that will never forget him.
To commemorate his exceptional life, Dave’s loved ones have decided to raise money for a memorial bench in his honour. This will give everyone a special place to remember him - a place where Dave’s three young children can go to feel close to him.
As his brother-in-law Scott says:
“Dave was a loved man with the biggest and kindest of hearts ,loved by each and every individual he has ever met. He was a loving and loyal husband and an amazing father to 3 beautiful children.”
