With countless import and export declarations processed since our launch just 3 years ago, it’s safe to say that our team knows a thing or two about customs legislation.
So, when one of our customers - a well-known car brand and manufacturer - came to us with a unique request, we knew that we would be able to support them.
But there was a problem.
The speed bump.
Our customer, a well-known Japanese car manufacturer, came to us for support with their customs paperwork.
Seeking to transport 11 cars per load into the Republic of Ireland, we knew that this was going to be a challenge.
After all, for each individual car, an export and an import declaration was required.
And it was essential that this was completed within the 2 hours it took for the haulier to load the cars and transport them to the port.
As if to raise the ‘breaks’ even further, our customer transports several loads per day, 5 days a week.

The cars, which entered into the UK from Mainland Europe through inward processing, arrived at their temporary destination in a city located in the Midlands.
This is where the finishing touches were made.
Once work had been done on the cars and they were ready to go to their destination in the Republic of Ireland, we got started.
For each of the 11+ cars collected by haulier, our team completed a GB export, IE import, SSD, GMR and PBN in only 2 hours - just in time for the cars to arrive at the port. Since the enormous success of the first declarations we supported our customer in making, we have helped the Japanese car giant to transport thousands more vehicles into the Republic of Ireland from Great Britain.
With multiple loads per day, our experts may complete up to 66 declarations in only 2 hours, all while continuing to provide 100’s of other customers with the same level of care and expertise.
