We will be making changes to the Customs Declarations Service (CDS) on Monday 31st July 2023. As a result, you will not be able to validate or embark GMRs with CDS declaration references, on Monday 31st July 2023, 11:55pm to 01:05am Tuesday 1st August 2023 - (Declarations submitted will be held in a queue until the service is resumed).
Traders and hauliers have been asked to submit declarations and complete GMRs with any CDS MRNs/DUCRs before 11:40pm on 31/07/2023 to avoid any delays.
For any embarkations submitted during this period, GMRs associated with CDS declarations will show as having an inspection required, queued and then will resolve by the time the vessel arrives. GMRs which are not associated with CDS (such as transit, ATA Carnet or Declaration by Conduct) will process normally. If you are unable to validate GMRs between 11:55pm to 01:05am, you are permitted to ship them using BCP procedures (e.g. C status / T2).
