What made you want to join CustomsLink?
“I understand the difficulties faced by companies operating in an ever-changing commercial environment across Europe. I also see the great benefit that CustomsLink brings, with our one-stop shop solution bringing cost and time savings to customers.”
Could you tell us a little bit about your experience in sales/logistics/customs?
“I have over 23 years’ worth of experience in the logistics industry, providing many different supply chain solutions to businesses. From the very largest companies to the very smallest one-man bands working out of a garden shed, I treat every customer with the same determination to do a great job. I like to think I am there working for my clients just as much as I am working for an employer.”
What is your approach to bringing on new clients?
“When I see a potential new client, I want to have a clear understanding of what their business does and their business goals.
“Using my experience and that of my colleagues, I then provide all the information they need to achieve their ambitions, and an operational framework for them to be compliant and let them concentrate on just being successful.”
What advice would you give to businesses considering using a customs broker?
“Take control of your own customs declarations, construct your paperwork and stop wasting time chasing information from 3rd party providers!”
What is your favourite hobby?
“Trying the many different Indian restaurants across Greater Manchester!”
