A new trade deal signed in July with Norway came into effect from the 1st December 2021.
It will make the export of food, services and more much simpler with lower tariffs and exclusive duty-free quotas for UK exporters.
With a reduction in customs paperwork and simpler transfer of documentation, exporters will save both time and money when trading.
Farmers, seafood and food producers will benefits from lower tariffs and larger duty-free quotas, helping to support industry jobs. With an economic relationship already worth £21.6 billion, the deal brings many opportunities for further growth.
