Job Overview 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. 

This role will span all areas of the business: 

  • Develop quality coding by working closely with the Software developer teams and the Head of Information Systems. 

  • Problem solving by using own initiative and learning new skills. 

  • Assisting with scoping documents. 

  • Interpreting existing scoping documents to deliver fitting software. 

  • Where required seek advice from business experts. 

  • Launch of code into UAT and live environments. 

  • Deliver code using best business practices. 

  • Operate own testing cycles to reduce bugs. 

  • Problem solving bugs on existing or newly delivered software. 

  • To participate in peer code reviews – a great way to produce solid code and learn new things! 

  • Engage in internal tech talks and other training 

  • Liaise with business stakeholders to create functional and technical requirements in order to produce appropriate software solutions.
