Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
This role will span all areas of the business:
Develop quality coding by working closely with the Software developer teams and the Head of Information Systems.
Problem solving by using own initiative and learning new skills.
Assisting with scoping documents.
Interpreting existing scoping documents to deliver fitting software.
Where required seek advice from business experts.
Launch of code into UAT and live environments.
Deliver code using best business practices.
Operate own testing cycles to reduce bugs.
Problem solving bugs on existing or newly delivered software.
To participate in peer code reviews – a great way to produce solid code and learn new things!
Engage in internal tech talks and other training
Liaise with business stakeholders to create functional and technical requirements in order to produce appropriate software solutions.
